Hammar Nails Win at Sugar Hill
Weare, NH – It was just a matter of time before a new winner
reached victory lane in the Jr. Outlaw 'B' division at Sugar Hill
Speedway. On Sunday, Ryan Hammer was that driver. Douglas Lazelle
has been showing great dominance in the class, but the entire field
has been getting better and faster as the weeks wind down in the
Sugar Hill season. Hammer grabbed the lead on the first lap and held
off challenges from Parker Mullins Jr.. Meanwhile, the field was
mixing it up behind the front two. Mullins maintained his second
position until Lazelle was able to get by for the checkers. Mullins
finished third followed by Stephen Makela and Katie Jeski rounding
out the top five.

WORK BEGINS ON 2009 WEEKLY RACING SERIES
The 2008 season has just a handful of weeks remaining and the
management team at Sugar Hill Speedway has already begun working on
next year's schedule, and an on-site karting retail shop with safety
gear, parts, karts, and a 2009 rule book. Many of these items will
be in place prior to this year's championship banquet in November.
Racing action will remain on every Sunday in 2009 with the exception
of the two Sprint Cup Series races and Memorial Day and the 4th of
July Weekends. |

ENGINE & TIRE RULE REMINDER FOR 2009
In the 2008 rulebook, it states that all divisions will go to a
Briggs Animal and the Burris Tire in 2009. This decision stands and
will not be changed. These rules will not be integrated in 2008.
Animal engines will not be allowed in Flathead divisions during this
season, except where noted in the 2008 rulebook. |
